    Moonwalk - Walk Overnight

Together with some friends and colleagues,  I participated in the "ORBIS Moonwalk" last weekend, which involved a walk overnight from 11:00pm Saturday night till 6:30am Sunday morning from Kowloon to Sai Kung.  It is a fund-raising exercise to support ORBIS's sight-saving work for The Blind.  But yes, It took me 7 hours to accomplish the 20km hike.  Sevaral takeaways from this excercise that I wanna share with all my friends.

    1) 20km overnight walk. Not to exaggerate, it is far more than the km I have walked altogether since I began to work. Though exhausted, I got far more fun than working overnight.

    2) Trust&Care. There was a short 10 minute walk during which we were blindfolded (albeit short, it reminded me to appreciate our gift to see). Ppl, including me, became more suspicious when eyes being covered, wondering where is the next obstacles, whether there is uphill or downhil in front, where is cross, etc. What important to me is the person right beside, giving me guidance and supporting me with hand. The comfort level depends on the trust in between. Yes, it's all about trust, care and love when you are in an inferior situation.

    3) Never know your potential. I seldom did gym or work out, the walk indeed has built up my confidence of being a sporty gal. Should join more hiking activities going forward haha.

    4) Achievement. On seldom occasions I could be fulfilled ever since I began to work, but this walk is definitely one. After experiencing all the frastruation during the night, the sunrise in Sai Kung was more beautiful to me than any Tequila Sunrise I have ever had.

I have already made up my mind to enroll the exercise next yr, lmk if you are interested to join us.

Btw, This is a fund-raising exercise to support ORBIS's sight-saving work.  Please kindly see link to the ORBIS HK website and a brief summary below of the work it does:
