和JWT是一幢楼，under the same group of WPP, but why they r still competitors~ Anyway, the office is colored with white, which is quite unique compared with other colorful advertising and marketing companies. It is really a people connected enviroment. They even chat a lot personal things with their client at the first place. But so sweat guys there.  My boss jumped to know the client director we were meeting was the same guy she met in Tibet! So amazing that they could meet some time again in life and in shanghai.

It took me quite a long time in finding the exact place. Since it is also 4A Ad&MKT company, I took it 4 granted that it should be located in some luxury building. I was even a little bit shocked when the taxi driver told me he could not get inside the street coz it is so narrow. Walking inside the road, without any building above 3 storey around... It appeared inside a lane with quite old houses, A gardon of old Shanghai. Ppl there seems more serous, but professional. They gave us heaps of suggestion in launching a market campion in shanghai. It is obvious that the deliverables are better. And the brand ideas r great as well. Like Bella, 百变所以美丽！ Its wut i like. But my boss cannot understand Chinese, which is 4 sure a loss to her...I am glad to know these marketing ppl have a solid ground about the industies and a can-do attitude. So great! Bright ideas getting down to implementation would rock a success.  

 

 

Working with smart marketing ppl is really a nice experience. Being a client, u have the rignts to challenge.  It is also a nice part of cooperating. Hopefully, they will deliver wut we want.  No one knows how far i could go to challenge them and work together with them from planning, creating to excecution.

 

But I like the feeling to being a client, no need to please others any more, at least i dont have to make presentation during the meeting, but they have to. hahaha. Unlike making cold call and company visit i used to do. lalalala 

一个在读B school的学长要考试了。据说都是选择题，我就告诉了他以前老师一直传授的方法，不会做就都选C（成功率比较高）. 以为很聪明，他却很serious的告诉我，那时中国人的思维方式。……那美国人呢？

--选什么都有可能。

 

对哦 就想到以前的TOEFL听力，如果有两道题选了BC那么下一道选A的概率就很高。可是高考的时候，老师再三嘱咐，如果前面三道题目是BDC那么下一道是A的可能性很小（出题人会设陷阱让大家跳进去）。。所以就以为这种非规律性的随机分布很难以捉摸。出题人太坏了。那么真的是中国人太聪明了还是美国人太聪明了？我一直都不以为是后者。

 

高中读了文科之后，就再也没有碰过生物，也在短短一个月时间内将以前所学全部忘记。所以考试基本都靠选择题得分，而选择题基本都靠选C得分。一直屡试不爽。我至今还记得那次考了26分(relatively speaking,已经很高了）当时真的兴奋了很久。 想想看要是真的没有中国人自以为聪明的跳跃的思维方式，可能我连2位数的成绩都很难拿到。真的把我放到美国去考试……就只能靠拼人品了。。。哈哈。。

 

今天和表姐讨论了一个问题，是不是一定要去读B school我原来的答案一直很坚定的。。可是老姐十几年的experience告诉我……告诉我了一个我永远都不想去听的答案……一个我听了也不会接受的答案……想想她现在都打算去corporate 我却要走一遍她十年前走过的路~~ 我也觉得我很silly 可我还是想十年之后再去承认她现在说的话，即使我知道这都是真的。

 

她一直问我出去读书的最终目的是什么，我就很傻得说做自己想做的Industry

那为选择从现在进去做，会比读完MBA结果好。

是么？其实我知道，可是我真的很想读~ 就是为了enjoy the process, regardless of the results...
